Built in 1898, the Orwell Hotel with the grandeur of a Victorian building with high ceilings, crystal chandeliers and oak wood panelling, can provide you the perfect backdrop for your special day.

At The Orwell Hotel, our experienced team understand that every wedding day is different, based on your dreams for your big day. As well as offering packages, we offer the option of choice. All of our packages can be adapted and flexible to suit your bespoke ideas.

With our Civil ceremony license, we can offer you a complete wedding service, along with accommodation, all under the same roof. You can get married at the hotel and enjoy a fabulous reception in one of three function suites. Our elegantly decorated function suites can accommodate both intimate gatherings and large parties.
The Furneaux Suite can accommodate up to 20 guests, while the Elizabeth Suite can seat up to 250 guests for the wedding breakfast and 300 for your evening reception.

From the time your booking is placed, our dedicated team of experienced coordinators will provide a flawless service tailored to your individual requirements. From helping with the civil ceremony formalities to assisting you with the finishing touches we will ensure that your special day runs smoothly.

Our Head Chef has years of professional kitchen experience and will assist you in tailoring a menu to suit your requirements. On the day, our team will be on hand to make your wedding day the most memorable day of your life.
