A12 to Ipswich from London direction, or A14 if coming from the Midlands. A14 around Ipswich and stay on the A14 to Felixstowe. As you approach Felixstowe you will come to a large roundabout where you should go straight ahead onto the A154 (DO NOT TURN RIGHT TO THE DOCKS).

Then continue on the A154 to the second roundabout where you should also go straight ahead onto the A1021. Continue straight ahead until you come to a third roundabout where you should turn right into Beatrice Avenue (tree lined). Go to the end of the avenue where there is a roundabout, The Orwell Hotel will be in front of you. Go straight across the roundabout into Hamilton Road and turn left into the Hotel car park.
